So please dont slander me Ill get over the pros and consPros:- Incredibly well done story (The drama is real is this one)- Characters that will melt your heart ( Voice acting was amazing )- Jokes are actually good- The Art of the game is amazing- Sound effect were on pointCons:- Wished there were "animations" per say- No nudity involved (Ya damn pervs.)Thats about it for the pros and cons, but where do i start the review? I'll just write a simple one then, The Story? Your a borderline unsocial jackass went it comes to girls (seriously there are moments so cringy on how he did not realize what the girls were talking about) that tries to save an all girls school from going bankrupt by changing it into co-education, sounds hard? Yes it is. With me playing 30 or more hours into it just means you are in for a ride. The characters (Main or even Side characters) they all had influence into the story, not just blatant side characters that just appears for chit chat and random moments, no they all actually have a point in the story. The routes are only 4 from this one. Im not complaining since each route really has a touching story to each girl, whether it being your old friend, your saviour, your enemy, or just a seductive older women that likes to tease you alot. The plot twists are incredible in it aswell like truly "a holy **** " moment. And then there was the ending. I cried. Seriously i did. Just to put it simply the drama ride you took and it ends all in perfect climax, it just hurts right in feels. So should you buy this game?Yes, preferably on sale Is it a great game?It is for me. Opinions of others do count, but yours is to find out yourselves. How much would you rate it?9.8/10, due to the fact it didnt have animations to it. (Also nudes were cut out, perverts)And thats my review thanks for reading my random opinion about this wonderful game!. Princess Evangile is a very fluffy rom-com with bits of drama sprinkled in. The first half is your typical rom-com setting as the main character adjusts to life at an all girls school, but the second half leads into the more drama heavy character routes. On the whole, everything is presented very nicely and it quickly gets you into the swing of things. The only extreme negative about the story is the headmistress. I don't know why they thought it would be a good idea to write the most obnoxiously unlikeable character in the history of ever and constantly have her inserted into sections throughout the story. Her motives are completely obscured until end sections of particular character arcs, and even with that info out in the open it doesn't change the fact that her actions throughout the story were highly illogical and served nearly no purpose whatsoever in the grand scheme of things. While that is the only significant detractor from the experience, the rest is very enjoyable and fun. Princess Evangile still remains one of my favorite stories 3 years after my original read-through!. I highly recomend this, It's likely one of the biggest VN's on steam ( as in time put into the game to finish. It's also got amassing humor in it, although it's drama can get a bit over the top at times as well, but not really any more then the standard slice of like manga. Only really downside is only 4 of the 9 gilrs that have an in depth involvment have a route, despite at least a few of those other ones really, really seeming like it was builing up to one. Thankfully there is a spin off, if you will, that covers those 5 girls, and the company said that they will localise it if this does well enough, so to all that like this I implore you either but the the steam version or adult one from the company itself, whichever one youd prefer, since not only is it only a good VN thats got alot written into the story, but then we can get all are favorite girls ^_~. Second fav VN, Ignore my playtime I just skipped it all on this steam version since I have the mangagamer one.Characters are pretty cool, and though I found some parts of the plot unrealistic, it's not so bad that I can't suspend my disbelief.Chiho is mine. Not yours. The length of the game is very solid, a lot of VN's on steam you can finish in a couple hours, but even on skip mode it took half an hour as you can see. I do feel like some parts went on for too long, but this is a minor complaint since I was entertained with the characters regardless.Though the choices take quite some time in-between each one, all except one felt meaningful.. One of the best visual novels I've played ever! Love the story line and it has a great balance of humor and serious tone in all storylines!. good vn dont but if you hate long games. Now I know the price then seeing the all ages version is a huge turn off but here this review outPERSONALITY yes main character is an actual character this is pretty uncommon in VN but not only that but he has an amazing backstory that even got me someone who is a huge otaku. Story is about a poor dude who basically goes to a all girls school after rescuing a damsel in distress and eh needs to earn his keep there because eh is part of an experiment to see if the school wants to become a mixed school or stay all girls(Yes only sample and one test not a good way to test it but hey). He meets people he knows there thats why he has friends he is mostly hated at first by majority of girls but yea through character development and plot it shines to light. Now its long now I finish VN relatively fast so about 16 hours for me for one ending(multiple endings depends on choices) but I see average being 30 for most people. All character are very charming and likable and some are just too lovable like asako and ruriko. Soundtrack is good as well as art very superb but because its the all ages version no hentai or patch BUT it actually replaces scenes with other that are not in the adult only version so even if you played the adult version you would want to see the scenes plus there is always google you could see what you missed. Overall great game 9.5 out of ten and just shouting out a great VN on steam if your looking for story rich almost about to cry worth your money check out a VN called eden its great you can get the original version here they did make some hentai version of it but the original make had none so get the one on steam.. Princess Evangile is a beautiful novel, with an amazing story and wonderful graphics. Great characters, all well developed. The only problem I had was that it ended. There is a huge backstory to the visual novel, which is revealed as the player progresses through the story. The endings are all great (apart from when none of the routes are chosen/followed) and the whole story is very emotional, while still managing to maintain an air of humour throughout most of the novel.Rating: Characters: 10/10Endings: 10/10Routes (Story): 10/10Backstory: 10/10Overall: 10/10
